捷豹車道門製造商首開先例，在台灣推出車道門「租賃」服務。每月住戶只要繳6至9千元就可享有5年「無上限」的免費服務。
元誠之所以大膽推出車道門「租賃」，不同其他品牌1次賣斷，關鍵在於元誠對自家產品有信心，而服務及時，有口皆碑。董事長，也是創辦人鍾茂淵表示，「顧好信用一直是公司成長的主要磬石」。故走在業界前頭，首推租賃方式銷售，不擔心消費者藉故退租。
從鐵窗行起家，當初創業公司僅董事長鍾茂淵夫婦和1名學徒共3人。一直到1983年，公司逐上軌道，才轉型成立現在的元誠捲門公司。鍾茂淵表示，公司經營著重創新和專業，兩大主軸產品耐盾捲窗、捷豹車道門為給客戶更安全的防護，會隨時代潮流導入應用最新科技。
鍾茂淵指出，元誠會推出「租賃」捲門這樣新的銷售服務，是因長期觀察到集合式住宅住戶對大樓車道門的安全防護沒有信心。如住戶常碰到的叫修廠商不來；還有颱風天不關捲門，怕被吹壞，要花錢修理，此外保固期「限」使用次數，使用的成本增高，都讓消費者吃不消。而坊間都是產品一次買斷，若消費者買到劣質品沒法退貨，只能自認倒楣。特別是豪宅大樓，車道出入口住戶因對捲門安全有顧慮，多請警衛站崗，增加不必要支出。
對此，為解決消費者問題並提供永久安心保障，元誠自今年起將全面推廣車道門「租賃」服務概念。初期將鎖定「既有」的「集合式住宅」客層，服務範圍以新竹以北地區為主。採租賃方式的客戶可享有產品5年不限使用次數的售後服務，另送天災險、產品責任險，及24小時不漏接專線，全年不打烊的售後服務。
鍾茂淵表示，捷豹車道門就安全性、耐用性、功能性、傳動力以及服務品質絕對為全台唯一。馬達零件是與台灣大廠合作並採用變頻模組，節能更省電，有效保護捲門機使用壽命，最快速度可達3.8秒，更通過高達120萬次的嚴格升降測試。

市面上手機螢幕保護貼的價格高低不一，對此消基會以iPhone7為例，特地至網路採購9款手機「玻璃保護貼」，結果發現商品價差達11倍，且標示全數不合格。
消基會表示，目前「手機螢幕保護貼」僅屬「一般商品」，包含硬度、材質等品質項目並無相關標準，不需經過相關檢驗即可上市。因此，消費者對於商品所宣稱的「防爆防裂」、「硬度達9H」、「高透光」、「不沾水滴油漬」等功能，若無實際使用，光憑商品外觀實在難以辨別。
有鑒於此，消基會抽查的9款商品中，價格從單片150元至1690元不等，不僅價差達11倍，更發現全部都未提供完整的商品資訊，不合格率達100%；其中5款甚至只有標註商品名稱與功能，功效宣稱大多未經檢測證實，消費者既無法得知保護貼到底是塑膠還是玻璃製成，更無法確知功效是否與宣稱相符。
消基會認為，手機螢幕保護貼價格不僅混亂，外包裝資訊也簡陋不全，長久下來恐淪為業者自行叫價，消費權益難維護，除了呼籲政府相關單位應立即調查，並對違規的業者予以限期改正或開罰外，也要消費者勿過度相信商品宣稱的功能，最好挑選標示完整的商品，避免消費爭議。
